- What is a zoomerang?
- A movie made from your own artworks. Each artwork sits inside the next, and the camera zooms through them in one continuous move.
- What does it cost?
- Nothing. zoomerang is free for artists, made possible by our sponsors.
- What do I need to start?
- A crypto wallet to sign in, and your artworks as JPEG files whose long side is at least as long as the long side of the size you pick: 3840 pixels for 4K, 1920 for TikTok/Instagram Reel & Story, 1080 for Instagram Feed/X. Each file must be 1 MB or smaller. Open the Studio and connect your wallet.
- How do I make one?
- Create a zoomerang, name it and choose its size: 4K Landscape, 4K Portrait, TikTok/Instagram Reel & Story, or Instagram Feed/X. In Frames, add your artworks from the outermost to the innermost. In Masks, mask the parts of each artwork to keep; everything outside a mask becomes transparent. In Design, place each artwork inside the one before it. In Publish, make the MP4.
- What does Focus do?
- Focus is a checkbox under each artwork in Masks, unchecked by default. When it is checked, an artwork placed at a skew straightens out to its original shape for its pause in the zoom, so it is seen as it was made, then takes its skew back and the zoom continues. When it is unchecked, the artwork stays as placed.
- What do the edges of the placed artwork in Design mean?
- Each edge is set on its own; click an edge to toggle it. A thick edge is feathered automatically. A thin edge is straight, with no feathering.
- Can I change the size later?
- No. The size is set when the zoomerang is created.
- Who can see my zoomerang?
- Private zoomerangs are only in your Studio. Public ones appear in the Gallery. Public - Hidden ones are not listed, but anyone with the link can play them. A zoomerang can only be made public after its MP4 is published.
- What is at the end of the video?
- A closing card with your avatar, your handle, your X, Instagram and Web links, and a QR code for your Web link. Set these on your Profile, in the Studio.
- Can I use images that are not my own work?
- No. Every artwork in a zoomerang must be your own.
- How do I become a sponsor?
